Brent E. Southern

Mr. Southern joined the firm in 2018 after practicing law for 30 years in Mississippi. After receiving his Bachelors degree from Ole Miss in 1983, Mr. Southern was a high school teacher and coach before returning to law school. He received his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 1988 and began his career in litigation. In law school, Mr. Southern was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as President of Phi Alpha Delta. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Southern has been involved in many civic organizations. He continued his love of sports by getting involved with the local YMCA youth programs, eventually serving as president of the Northside YMCA board. He also served as a Director with the North Jackson Youth Baseball Organization. In his legal career, Mr. Southern has focused primarily on personal injury cases and prides himself on aggressively representing his clients in order to achieve the best possible result, whether by settlement or trial. He is currently licensed in both Colorado and Mississippi.
