Christopher A. McCoy

Christopher McCoy was born and raised in Barstow, California – a small desert town situated between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. After graduating high school, Christopher moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked nights as a bartender to put himself through college.
In 1999, Christopher graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national honor society, and earned the prestigious Hazel Award for Excellence in Economics.
After graduating from Santa Clara University, Christopher moved his family to Colorado where he worked for a variety of internet and technology firms; however, he never lost sight of his dream to attend law school.
In 2006, Christopher enrolled at the University of Colorado Law School where he focused on business and intellectual property law. In his final year of law school, he worked as an intern with a small civil litigation firm in Boulder. It was there that he discovered his passion for helping accident victims fight insurance companies to be compensated for their injuries.
Upon graduation, Christopher partnered with a small personal injury law firm and quickly became a partner. In 2012, he joined the Mintz Law Firm and has represented hundreds of accident victims during his tenure.
Christopher is the father of three adult children and recently welcomed his first grandchild. In his spare time, he practices yoga and is an avid “do-it-yourselfer.”
