Timothy Edstrom
Tim Edstrom is an attorney who focuses on personal injury and workers' compensation cases. However, he also has extensive experience in a wide variety of legal fields that include criminal defense, family law, immigration, Social Security, business disputes, civil rights violations, sexual harassment, and securities regulation. Tim has done more than 50 jury trials in cases that range from criminal defense of murder in the first degree to high stakes civil cases. His legal background includes having litigated some of the most high-profile civil rights cases in Colorado history, including the Michael DeHerrera and Juan Vasquez police brutality lawsuits.
A native of Colorado, Tim graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002 with a degree in political science before receiving his juris doctor degree in 2005 from the University of Denver College of Law. Tim speaks Spanish fluently, a linguistic skill that has served his clients well. He proudly represents clients from a broad range of backgrounds and nationalities and currently serves on the Board of Directors of El Comité de Longmont, an organization with a mission “to facilitate communication and understanding within the community to improve social justice, education and economic status for the Latino and non-Latino members of the community.” Tim, who lives with and enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage kids, is an obsessive reader who is passionate about sports and has been fortunate to have travelled to more than 30 countries.
