DEDICATED PERSONAL INJURY REPRESENTATION

COVID-19: Our Preventative Measures

To our current and prospective clients during these unprecedented times:

Social distancing is the new norm, as it should be to protect the most vulnerable among us. In an effort to do our part, Mintz Law Firm wants you to know that we are able to accommodate the needs of our current and prospective clients while minimizing the need for them to venture out into public. Through telephonic and electronic tools, Mintz Law Firm will continue to meet the needs of its clients without losing the personal experience that we pride ourselves in providing to them. This letter outlines several ways that our firm can do that.

First, Mintz Law Firm has been and will continue to utilize e-signature software to quickly (and safely) advance your case. From the first day you contact our office, you have the option to retain our services via electronic signature and a “meeting.” We understand that retainer agreements and the other documents necessary to begin legal representation can seem complex, but our team will send those documents to you electronically and review them with you during a phone call. Without meeting face-to-face you will get a full understanding of the fee agreement and other documents in our “New Client Paperwork” (NCP) packet.

For current clients, we’ll continue to use e-signature software so that you can execute your settlement agreements without having to incur the time, travel expense, or risk of going into public for a face-to-face meeting. We can send settlement agreements, and any other documents requiring your signature, to you for electronic signing.

When circumstances dictate it, our firm will accommodate face-to-face meetings; however, many of the conversations that we need to have with current and prospective clients can be conducted over the phone. If you are not able to reach your attorney or paralegal on your first call, please leave a voicemail or send a text or email to schedule a time for a phone call. In some instances, your attorney or paralegal may be working off-site, so scheduling a time for a phone call is always a good option to make sure that you can talk to your assigned team about your case.

Our firm has always welcomed our clients’ texts and emails. When a particular topic or issue in your case does not require a phone call, please contact your attorney or paralegal via text or email. In every case, our firm can establish a “phone” number that is specific to your case that can be used for texting. Of course, we’re also available via email too.

The Mintz Law Firm difference is real, and we promise to continue to differentiate ourselves from other firms in these extraordinary times by providing top notch representation and client service through increased reliance on the technological platforms available to move your case forward.

Thank you for reading this letter and please work with us to flatten the curve.

Sincerely,
Eric C. Staton, Esq.
